Annual Reports

We’re proud to be an organization that has supported dogs in need for over ten years. The annual reports below showcase our incredible journey toward ensuring every dog has a chance at a better tomorrow. Until they all have a home.

2024 brought continued challenges, with adoptions down and financial strain felt across the rescue world. We explored additional fundraisers alongside our flagship events to raise crucial funds.

In 2023, we proudly celebrated 10 years of rescue work. This milestone year also marked a meaningful rise in community engagement, with more school visits, senior living outreach, and connection-driven events than ever before.

2022 marked a turning point as we emerged from the pandemic, reconnecting with our community and regaining momentum. We reignited our Mini Paws program, resumed school visits, and renewed our efforts to engage and educate through in-person outreach.

2021 was a year of resilience, shaped by uncertainty but strengthened by teamwork and the healing power of dogs. Through adaptability, hard work, and community support, we navigated the challenges and emerged stronger together.

In 2020, despite nationwide shutdowns, we were deemed essential and rose to the challenge—racing against time to save lives, transport pups, and meet a surge in foster and adoption interest. Thanks to extraordinary teamwork and community support, we placed 971 dogs in loving homes, proving once again that TLC is more than a rescue—it’s a family.

2019 was a year of incredible impact, with over 190 moms and puppies—and countless adults—welcomed into our care, including more than 38 puppies born in our rescue. While saving lives remained our top priority, we also deepened our community outreach through school visits, corporate wellness events, youth education programs, and local partnerships that helped both people and pets in need.

2018 was a year of perseverance and heart—despite facing parvo outbreaks and extraordinary cases like Bella, our brave three-legged survivor, we saved lives and never gave up. With the help of our growing team, dedicated supporters, and successful fundraisers, we expanded our impact, even seeing three of our pups begin training as service dogs and raising over $1,000 through our inspiring Mini Paws youth team.
