JULY
Coco’s Dream
National Dog Photography Day & The Power of a Picture
Coco’s beginning was heartbreaking. She arrived at the shelter with gruesome wounds after being attacked by a pack of dogs. Her own owners decided they didn’t want her back, even once she was healed & cared for. When our rescue partner called asking for help with her placement & her vet care, we didn’t hesitate.
Fast forward, and Coco’s true spirit shone through. Sweet, playful, and full of life, she showed off for the camera, capturing the heart of everyone who met her. You would never guess what she had endured just by looking at her joyful personality.
Our photographer, Barb Hess, took this incredible photograph that captures Coco exactly as she is: brave, happy, and ready for love. It’s a reminder of why every picture matters — from intake photos to personality portraits, the right image can help a pup like Coco find their forever home.
✨ Sometimes, a single photo can capture a lifetime of courage. ✨
