To Love a Canine Rescue Receives Second Consecutive Grant from Foxwynd Foundation to Support Lifesaving Medical Care

May 13, 2026

[Malvern, PA] – [May 13, 2026] – To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc. (TLC) is proud to announce it has once again been awarded a grant from the Foxwynd Foundation through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Now in its second consecutive year of support, the Foundation has awarded TLC $15,000 to help fund critical medical care for dogs in the organization’s foster program.

This continued investment will allow TLC to provide essential, life-saving treatments for dogs in need, including heartworm treatment and orthopedic procedures, which are often unexpected and costly. With rising medical expenses continuing to challenge animal rescues nationwide, this funding plays a vital role in ensuring that dogs receive the care they need to heal, thrive, and ultimately find loving forever homes in our community.

The mission of the Foxwynd Foundation is to act as a lifeline for communities in need by enhancing access to key pillars of human dignity and potential such as healthcare, housing, and sustainable environmental initiatives. Through its Donor Advised Fund, the Foundation’s continued support of To Love a Canine Rescue reflects a shared commitment to compassion, community, and second chances.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive support from the Foxwynd Foundation for the second year in a row,” said Tracy Long, TLC Executive Director. “Medical care is one of the most significant and impactful investments we make in every dog we rescue. This grant allows us to say ‘yes’ to dogs who need us most and ensures they receive the treatment necessary to live happy, healthy lives while they wait for their forever families.”

“Supporting organizations like To Love a Canine Rescue reflects the heart of our mission—to ensure that access to critical care and resources is never a barrier to dignity, healing, and second chances. By funding essential medical treatments for rescued dogs, we are not only saving lives, but also strengthening the connection between compassion and community impact.” — Pamela Villagra, Executive Director of the Foxwynd Foundation

Together, this support is creating more second chances for dogs in need and the families who welcome them home.
