After spending eight years in a Mississippi backyard and losing the only person he'd ever known, he had every reason to retreat. His body was hurting, his heart was broken, and his eyes told a story of silent suffering.

Blaze will now spends his days surrounded by people who cherish him, cozy rugs to nap on, and all the snuggles he used to shy away from. His new family sees him not for his medical needs or his past, but for exactly who he is: a gentle, goofy, resilient soul who just wanted to be loved.
